Dr. Sneha Shah is an ophthalmologist and has extensively trained in oculoplastic & aesthetic surgery. She is a consultant at prestigious hospitals in Mumbai and is known for her practical patient centered approach and comprehensive care.
She completed her post-graduation in Ophthalmology and was the silver medallist in the university. Her interest in Oculoplastics took her to LV Prasad eye institute, Hyderabad, which is a premier eye institute in India, to pursue training in Oculoplastics and Ocular Oncology. She was closely involved with the National Retinoblastoma Registry under the aegis of ICMR. She went on to gain further experience in the field, under Dr. Santosh Honavar at Centre for Sight, Hyderabad.
She traveled to the USA to enhance her training in Facial Aesthetics at Austin, Texas and Cincinnati, Ohio with Drs. Tanuj Nakra and Jeff Nerad.
Following this she worked as an Oculoplastic Consultant in the NHS, UK, catering to a population of half a million before returning to India.
She has carried out research in eyelid tumours and ocular surface tumours and was invited to present a paper on Sebaceous Gland Tumours at the Annual conference of American Academy of Ophthalmology. She has been faculty at various national and international conferences and has numerous presentations and 5 publications in peer-reviewed indexed journals to her credit.
